When I was talking to Coach Ford yesterday, in addition to what he said in the chat session, he said Will is stronger, jumping better, and has better elevation now than he has ever had. Will should have a great senior season.

When I was talking to Coach Ford yesterday, in addition to what he said in the chat session, he said Will is stronger, jumping better, and has better elevation now than he has ever had. Will should have a great senior season.

A healthy and strong contributing WE will help this team tremendously. Now we need someone that will step up and be consistent 3 point threat. I'd have to believe we have the other ingredients if WL can become that point guard that we also need this season.

I am excited and hope that Fields and Grier are allowed to play in the pre-season? I don't expect much of a turnaround this year, but want to see how the young guys are looking.

I expect to see a much improved team as we have 2 good transfers that will only make practices much more competitive which should make our players better prepared to go up against opposing players in the games.
I also expect to see Will and Dyricus have great final seasons which in turn should give us a chance to finish much higher then predicted (5th or 6th) if things fall into place, Creighton,Ill.St, UNI and Wichita St. are more then likely top 4 although Wichita has lost pretty much their starting 5 and one key injury could drop them down a few places, SIU,Mo.St,Ind.St, Drake,Evansville and Bradley more then likely are the bottom 6 and any key injuries to any of these teams could be the difference in falling down to the thurs. night playin game, I am ready to see a better product on the floor this season as we finally have good depth, let the games begin!
