Drake Boasts Top 50 Recruiting Class

According to an online ranking site - Drake's recruiting class is (or was supposedly) rated as #45 best in Division I

the problem though is that the online site Hoopscooponline.com must have changed or revised their rankings and Drake is nowhere in the Top 50 presently.
Wichita State is #41

The HoopScoop link you provided was a ranking of FALL signees only. I don't have a subscription, but I suspect HoopScoop did a ranking after the spring signees too and perhaps that is what Drake was referencing.

(By the way, it would appear as though two of the guys in WSU's ranked class won't be enrolling at WSU because they didn't qualify - Hawkins and Uwadaie).

I wonder if Drake's rankings might have been bolstered by the fact that it consists of seven guys, where most classes consist of three or four guys. In the past HoopScoop has given more weight to the pure number of signees than many of the other recruiting sites, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case here as well.
