That is an error. Swigris never played with Sylvester.
The Bradley all-time roster confirms that. Scroll to page 5 where both Swigris and Sylvester are listed-
Swigris played for Bradley from 1965-66 through 1967-68.
Sylvester played from 1968-69 through 1970-71. They never played on the same team.
Bob Swigris did wear #12 in 1967-68, which was his senior year, but Greg Berry wore #54 for the varsity that year (and that is not Greg Berry in the picture wearing #54, it is Frank Sylvester).
Frank Sylvester played only for the freshman team in 1967-68.
Frank Sylvester was a freshman and only played on the freshman team in 1967-68. Frank wore #10 for the BU freshmen that year.
Then in 1968-69, Frank was a sophomore and played varsity, but Swigris was gone by then. Frank wore #32 his sophomore year, and senior Steve Doty wore #54 that season.
In 1969-70, as a junior, Frank switched to #54, and senior Bill Rohlman wore #12. Sam Simmons was in his first year as a sophomore with the BU varsity and wore #42.
Then in 1970-71 Frank again wore #54, and senior Doug Schroeder wore #12. Sam Simmons again wore #42 as a junior.
So the only 2 years it could be are 1969-70, with Sylvester (#54) and Rohlman (#12), or 1970-71 with Sylvester (#54) and Schroeder (#12). However, Doug had blond hair and wore glasses.
Here is a photo of Bill Rohlman from the 1969-70 media guide. It clearly is Bill Rohlman in your picture.
And here is a picture of Doug Schroeder from the 1970-71 media guide. It is clearly not Doug in the picture-
That picture must have been from the 1969-70 season.
