Who do you think will be the top players in the MVC for 2012-2012?
The first team All MVC could look something like this. These are the top 5 returning scorers from last season-
Doug McDermott
Colt Ryan
Ben Simons
Jackie Carmichael
Tyler Brown
Others who might be considered in the top 10 players include FOY Seth Tuttle (UNI), Greg Echenique (CU), Jake Odum (InSU), Anthony James (UNI), Carl Hall (WSU) and a couple transfers who will be playing for the first time in the MVC Desmar Jackson (SIU) and Malcolm Armstead (WSU).
Bradley's best chances at landing a player on the 1st or 2nd All-MVC teams might be the top 2 returning scorers Dyricus or Walt is they show improvement over last season. And from what I've heard, Will Egolf is playing extremely well. Will and Seth Van Deest of Drake are both coming off severe injuries and could have the potential talent to be All MVC, though it's tough to get All-MVC support if your team is near the bottom of the league.
We should start seeing some preseason college basketball magazines coming out soon. Feel free to post your thoughts about who will be the best players in the MVC.
