why could he not appeal and get a 4th year as Daniel Ruffin did, and how is it he loses a season of eligibility when he did not play yet..?

Ruffin's had to do with test scores right?

Jones' has to do with classes he took in his native Barbados. I don't know if ISU plans on appealing the NCAA's ruling or not. If they do, they have a very slim chance of getting last year back.

Pretty sure their ruling was that he had 4 years left, but he could only play in 3 of them.
