We were getting embarrassed at Evansville last year? We were down 25-9 at one point and looked lost against a bad, bad team.
Why do I bring this up (other than the fact that I'm bored at work and listening to the game through the archives)? I think since that point, BU has really shown calmness that is necessary to play road games (and essentially the Illini game was the first). This isn't last year's pathetic road team that finally woke up in the last 15 games of the season, this is like the great sweet 16 team. Sure there was sloppiness but overall, BU handled a much better team and a much, much louder crowd than what will be at Tennessee Tech.
I'm not saying this game will be a cupcake, but I don't know if the concerns are really because of Tennessee Tech's "big" win at Wisc.-Milw. or if we still have the mentality that this team will struggle on the road.
It's nice to see how far this team is along at this point in the season as opposed to last year at this stage.
