  • LeBron James injury?

Very little being released officially but...and nothing confirmed but there's a lot of buzz regarding a possible injury this morning at team USA workouts...

Here's what's being tweeted supposedly from ESPN's Stephen A. Smith - but not being confirmed by any legitimate news or team sources.

"This morning at Team USA workouts, LeBron James left with an apparent knee injury. Sources say its a torn ACL. MRI scheduled for Monday. Wow"

It was a fake Stephen A. Smith account on twitter that reported this. The fake account has been pretty busy in the last few weeks. The fake account reported Kevin Garnett had retired and that Carmelo Anthony had been traded.

There was also a reported fake Chris Broussard saying Derrick Rose reinjured his surgically repaired ACL and needed more surgery. There appears to be a lot of juveniles on Twitter.

but here's an example of where the very people who may have bought the erroneous reports figured it out for themselves...
It is a perfect example that blows away the #1 argument the standard media uses to justify themselves as the bastion of truth and proper reporting
...hey - it's not like the "standard media" doesn't fall for completely erroneous and fictitious reports themselves.

The real twitter accounts are confirmed. The fake Adrian Wojnarowski twitter got the Ray Allen story before anyone else!
