Keita Bates-Diop of Normal University High School ranks #36 on the new Scout.com Top 75 rankings for the class of 2014-
Unlike the class of 2012, when there were only 2 Illinois players in the top 100 (Steve Taylor at #73, and Fred Van Vleet at #100), there are quite a few more Illinois higher ranked kids on the 2013 and 2014 list.

2013 Top 100- #1 Jabari Parker, #42 Kendrick Nunn, #47 Tommy Hamilton, #55 Billy Garrett, #67 Malcolm Hill, #81 Sterling Brown, and #93 Kyle Davis.-
2014 Top 75- #2 Jahlil Okafor, #3 Cliff Alexander, #30 Paul White, #36 Keita Bates-Diop, #46 Larry Austin, and #68 Tyquone Greer.-
