The other game is Oakland City College at Indiana State (6:05 pm cst)-
Oakland City College is a school with two different affiliations. They have recently become an NCAA D-II
school but are also memebrs of Division I NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association).
They are from Oakland City, Indiana. They are 2-2 this year, but they have had good success in the past in the NCCAA. They won the NCCAA Div I Championship in 1999. But Indiana State better win this one.
Oakland City College will be the host for the 2007 NCCAA Div I Championship--

Evansville has become quite the defensive team, holding their last three opponents to under 50 points. (Buffalo, Cleveland State, Southeast Missouri).
Evansville's Art Stalbergs, a little used senior, came off the bench to score 16 pts. on 7-8 from the floor.
Matt Webster passed the 1000 point mark in his career with 11 on the night.
Ex-Brave Michael Rembert playing for SEMO had only 2 points, 7 rebs and was saddled with foul trouble all night.

In Indiana State's win over Oakland, freshman Marico Stinson (6-3 SG) continued to surprise just about everyone with 18 points and 5 rebounds.
This time, in a starting role, Stinson was the game's scoring leader after three consecutive games in double figures.
In the Sycamore's first two games, Stinson only logged one minute total. Virtually nobody expected Stinson to have this kind of impact so early in his career.

In other games, Tennessee finally shook off a pesky Louisiana Lafayette team to win by 10, former SIU recruit Josh Tabb getting 0 pts, 1 asst, in 17 minutes.

Missouri beat Coppin State with former ISU recruit Stefhon Hannah getting 12 points, 13 assists, 5 steals, coming off a week where he was named Big 12 "Rookie of the Week".
The attendance was officially reported at 1,234, and the pictures of the 25,000 seat Mizzou Arena confirm that nobody seems to be very interested in Mizzou basketball this year!

Guess who plays for Toccoa Falls?
Their leading scorer last night in Toccoa Falls' loss to Western Carolina (117-58 ) was Jon Rychener.
Yup, it is the same Jon Rychener who graduated last June from Dunlap High School and was their 4-year starter at point guard.
