Looks like Jim Les' "coaching tree" is already starting again at UC-Davis. Gus Argenal, who was hired a year ago by Jim as an assistant at UC-Davis, was hired Friday as an assistant coach at Rice under Head Coach Ben Braun.

So the reason this is relevant is that it opens an assistant spot on the UC-Davis staff. Expect that spot to be filled with someone very familiar to Bradley fans.

Yes, they had to wait until the job was officially open, and until Kyle's commitments and contract was finished at WIU.

Congratulations to Kyle and wife Erin, nice people. This is a great move for him with long term security.

People who knew Kyle have said he actually may have had the best basketball mind of all the coaches that worked under Jim. Mo also appreciated that. I think we'll see him be very successful with more of a chance than he was given here.
