  • Best pro career?

Myers Leonard was the first Big 10 kid picked this year by Portland at #11 overall. An athletic big kid who can run the floor pretty good. Maybe a surprise he went that high in the draft.

Somewhat similar to POB from Bradley in athleticism. I would give the edge to Leonard offensively and the edge to POB defensively.

Question? Who will have a better pro career? I am leaning more toward Leonard because his offensive skills and range appear to have a higher upside. Defense at the pro level is not emphasized outside of that 1 specialist every team likes to have at the forward position.

Hard to say, but since we already know POB's NBA career was not good, I'd guess Leonard's will be better.
I don't see him becoming a domination player at the 5, and he may not be able to guard other NBA 4's. We'll see, but unless he bulks up substantially more, most NBA big men will abuse him.

He needs at least another 20 lbs. on his frame, which considering he's only 20, shouldn't be too difficult.
