NBA draft- Bulls take Kentucky PG Marquis Teague at #29

Not too many real surprises in this year's draft. It is looking a lot like many of the late projections and mock drafts-

The Bulls get one of the better point guards in the draft Marquis Teague of Kentucky. He was rated in the top 20 players available by many scouts-

I would have taken Tomas Satoransky over Teague.

The Bulls will be without backup center Omer Asik next season. He will sign a 3-year deal with the Houston Rockets for $25 million!

I had heard earlier that 6 million a year was the most anyone could offer. Do the Bulls get some kind of compensation? Or why the different story before.

Don't know. Teams can't sign free agents until July 11, though the free agents are able to negotiate with other teams. The Bulls have the right to match the offer, but that is unlikely. The $25 million deal includes a $15 million salary the 3rd year of the deal. That is unbelieveable, considering Derrick Rose's salary is about that much. What are the Rockets thinking?

I don't know where you got that number from. No, the Bulls do not get compensation. He will most likely be gone. I really didn't think he would be worth the $5M they were going to offer. Good for him.
