The Illinois Basketball Coaches All Star games were tonight (Sat. 6/23) in the Shirk Center on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
The Class 1A/2A South All Stars beat the North All Stars in 2 overtimes 121-116. Former BU recruit Tanner Williams of Class 1A Orion was the leading scorer for the game with 27 points, and was named the MVP of the game for the North.
In the Class 3A/4A game which concluded late, the North beat the South 116-96.
Normal West's Austin Stewart scored 19 points and was named the MVP for the 3A/4A South.
