OK, two things-
That is great. I am surprised since I think Hersey was a good pro-Not great
I am surprised there were no really superstar players at 6.
And second Bleacher report is the worst place in the world.
In fact I post on Illini Loyalty Board for football.
They have a rule that if you post a link from bleacher report you are banned I believe.
That is kind of over the top, but it will give you an idea of some of the stuff that can be posted on bleacher report.

That #6 spot seems to be a tough place to pick. Gallinari could end up being a better player. Roy was a great player at #6, but his career was shortened.
They have POB as the worst ever #9 pick. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...at-no-9/page/1I can do all things through pasta, which strengthens me.

Bleacher Report also names Evansville's Colt Ryan one of college basketball's hidden gems
Matt Overing, a journalism major at Kentucky, names Colt Ryan one of college basketball's hidden gems.
Bleacher Report is like a glorified message board with annoying lists that you have to click through.

This site, Bleacher Report, that seems to be one of everyone's favorite - has just been bought up by Ted Turner's empire

Another nice honor...ESPN names Hersey as among the Top 20 best high school players to come out of Chicago...
(they even count the entire Chicago area and have Hersey ranked #18 ahead of Quinn Buckner, Nick Anderson, Eddie Curry, Kendall Gill, and even Cazzie Russel!)
Given the talent load we're talking here - this is a great honor...
Here's their Top 10 - he even includes Batavia, IL's Dan Issel & Joliet's George Mikan -- quite a stretch for "Chicago-area"!!!
Kerr didn't get into basketball until late in his high school career, but he made up for it over time. He starred at Illinois after high school. He was drafted No. 5 overall by the Syracuse Nationals in the 1954 draft. He went to three NBA All-Star Games and averaged 13.8 points and 11.2 rebounds over 12 seasons. He won a title with the Nationals in 1955.
