He's on Rivals Top 150 list, and I saw more major offers than mid-majors, but who knows how accurate those lists are.

Dave Telep's site says the only five he visited were Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Dayton, & Xavier - but that he dropped Xavier when they landed Matt Stainbrook.
Morgan told the interviewer that playing time was a "huge factor"..and he even entertained a new offer from Kansas State when Bruce Weber called....but never visited there.
Morgan also says something I have heard before - that he never considered several of those offers as "strong offers" because a lot of those other dozen or so schools who had offered sent only their assistants, and he only considered the serious offers where the head coach visited personally.
BTW -- if Tubby Smith had been able to land MAVERICK MORGAN at Minnesota...it would have set up the possiblity of having two players named MAVERICK - as they had sophomore Maverick Ahanmisi on their squad this year.
