  • Ulrich's

Does anyone know what the atmosphere is like at Ulrich's? I'm thinking about going there for Ireland's match against against Spain Thursday afternoon. I just saw it yesterday and it looks just like one from Chicago.
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!

Definitely go IMO. Great selection, fun atmosphere. Reminded me of a Chicago bar when I went a few months ago on the weekend. Get a seat so you don't have to keep squeezing for people to get through. Maybe look up some reviews on Urbanspoon or Yelp too.

I read a lot of the Yelp reviews, everyone loved it, just hope it's okay at about 1:45 in the afternoon hahaha

Probably my favorite bar in Peoria.

Not sure how it is for soccer, but I like the atmosphere

One of my favorite places to visit before BU games... great burgers, too!
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I have not been there, but it is located at 631 Main St. in Peoria. It was formerly known as Mushrush's.

Many more people may know it by it's original (but previous owner's) name - Sullivan's. It was called Mushrush's for about 2 years only.

I still basically refer to it as Sullivan's. The name has changed too often for me, but it's a solid place as long as it isn't too crowded. I have no idea how it would be for soccer, but they have a good beer selection. Kelleher's could be a soccer option as well.
I can do all things through pasta, which strengthens me.

The Fox would be an even better soccer option but it's out by Pioneer Park.

Fox is an English pub though innit? Not exactly the best place to watch the Republic unless we've got a hidden Ireland supporters group in Peoria hahaha. Sullivans for soccer? I was sort of worried about Sullivan's being a "plastic Paddy" place but I've heard good things about it.
