The game changed when ZA got into foul trouble and we dropped into a zone.........this let them back into the game with a run and gave them confidence! This was our game to win and we let it get away with missed FT's and countless missed bunnies! Danny Ruffin gave CF fits and he could not handle the ball with DR on him!
Yes, definately! As I said in the chat, if Bradley can win 11 or so conference games, and a game or two in the Valley tourney, they will be on the NCAA bubble again.
We missed to many open shots. And had no inside game at all.
No we don't. But we knew that going into this season. If our perimeter game can carry us, we can win a lot of games until inside help arrives next year. We'll win our fair share of games. No disrespect to the Valley, but there are not a lot of teams in the Valley with the size and muscle of Illinois.
Still do not feel BU was "exposed" as some like to say. Just think that in the 2nd half they were taken out of their offensive sync and there was a little bit of guys trying to take things on their shoulders. Not nearly as many crisp passes and cuts as we'd seen from them in the 1st 5 games. I don't believe in moral victories, but this wasn't a bad loss.
I also think the Illini have some work to do if they hope to be compete this year.
