Brandon Book at SWIC - a freshman, starts most games averages 10 ppg, hits 42% on 3-pointers, 5 rpg

Macari Brooks - is a freshman at Blinn College (juco), 12.3 ppg, but his first game back from injury was a great game - 22 pts - LINK

Juwan Starks - freshman at Casper College, 65. ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.7 apg

Marlon Johnson is blowing up - this probably interests the ISU guys more than us...

        PLENTY OF INTEREST

Johnson has plenty of high-major interest.
The Tallahassee Community College Eagles were in effect at Rick Ball's JUCO
Challenge on the campus of Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, FL.
Marlon Johnson has plenty of early interest in his recruiting already before
the new school year even begins.

Johnson told JucoJunction today that DePaul, Kansas State, Oklahoma State,
llinois State, Arkansas and Memphis are just some of the schools recruiting
        him.

Johnson averaged 7.4 ppg and 5.9 rebounds last season for the 15-13 Eagles.

The Eagles have added some new players to the mix this coming season and
JucoJunction will touch on those players later on in a future article.

Here are two juco kids who are also blowing up and who have performed well at some of the summer juco events...hope our guys are talking with them

-Rashaun Stimage was a talented kid out of Chicago and a Mac Irvin Fire kid who didn't get a lot of recruiting interest in 2012 because it was pretty apparent he was headed the juco route.
BUT after a year at Blinn he is now getting noticed - he scored 15 ppg & 8 rpg as a freshman and will now be at Daytona State College this year.

-Michael Chandler a kid who was once a 4-Star kid out of Indianapolis but who struggled to get eligible will be a soph at NW Florida - he is a good, true post player

              ....

Neither Aldonis Foote nor Kevin Jordan's name are on the Moberly roster this year - both are transferred
BUT - both Foote & Jordan's names however appears at Trinity Valley CC in Texas, where both are getting decent minutes off the bench but not putting up much in numbers.

Macari Brooks is, however, where he was last year - and putting up some impressive numbers -
in their first nine games at Blinn, Macari Brooks is averaging 24.8 ppg, 64% shooting overall and 38% from 3-pt, 7 rebs, 3 asst, 2.4 steals.
I hope our guys are talking to him!

Book has been injured and has not played yet at SWIC after averaging 9 ppg/4 rpg last year

Britt at Coffeyville is playing and even starting some games, but 9 games into the season - he's averaging 2.7 ppg, 1 apg, and hitting only 19% on 3-pointers (4-21)

Peoria Central's Aldonis Foote (from Central's 2012 State Championship team) landed ultimately at Trinity Valley Community College - and he is one of their key players as they advance in the Junior College National Tournament (NJCAA)

However - despite 16 points from Foote today, TVCC lost to Harcum in Elite Eight play 69-56, so Trinity's season is over - Foote averaged on the season, 10.4 ppg & 4.7 rpg.
Also on the team was another Peoria Central player Kevin Jordan who averaged 3 ppg & 3.4 rpg.

Three of the Final Four teams are set for the NJCAA Nationals...
Harcum, Indian Hills, Vincennes...plus the winner between Chipola & Jones Co.
