Does anyone think that having one of the best shooters as a coach is a factor, or all all these players good shooters already?

I have actually talked with a couple of the players who say it is, and have heard it from other sources as well.
Jim Les works with each player on shooting technique and makes them into not just better shooters, but savvy shooters, knowing when to shoot and when to fake and pass.
Jim Les was one of the better long range shooters in the NBA, but he wasn't born a great long range shooter.
Jim made himself into the shooter he is and is a student of the art of shooting.
JL's best year in the NBA was .461 (71-154) and his career avg. was 40%, not bad for a little guy.
Is it any wonder his shooting camps are great camps for kids to attend?
I posted once how I observed Jim and his teaching of shooting techniques and drills to a bunch of youngsters.
He made about 30 midrange jumpers in a row, and only 2 or 3 even touched the rim!
Anyone remember this thread....?
