One guy who is not a regular poster made a dumb comment. It isn't plural, and it most certainly isn't an underlying theme.

Let's stop being offended by these little remarks, which we know come from the same source - this is journalism and free speech - it's the nature of the game. Just stop reading it if you're offended.
I haven't read the PJS articles, but I would have to bet that JL could currently care less what KW has to say. The PJS is like Fixed News (FOX) You know what their agenda is when you read their paper, or in Fixed News' case, watch their broadcasts.
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

then shouldn't DAVE REYNOLDS have picked Bradley 10th in the Valley next year in his preseason picks?
He's seen the players many, many times, so he should know - if there's not a single D-I player then how can we possibly finish ahead of anyone?

          Wessler impatience

t---Certainly you and DC have every right to your opinions and you also have the right to express them on this board. What I object to is that both of you seem to continually and withour letup rehash those opinions to the extent that they become hatreds, are knee jerk, and otherwise detract from what is a very good board.
I enjoy most of what the two of you write. You are informative and are obviously great BU fans but----your broken record posts regarding KW detract from your effectiveness for most of us and diminish the quality of this board IMO.
If you don't like a certain column or disagree with a KW written opinion, say so and then lets move on to more positive things and not keep "kicking the poor dead horse".

Then could one of you please provide the link. The burden to provide proof is on the person that brought it up and not the person that questions it. If it isn't hard to find, then it should be no problem!

Benny,Benny,Benny.....the other news stations don't have an agenda?....MSNBC for instance?.....anymore news is 10 minutes of news and 50 minutes of opinions to it.

wiz - in the offseason KW rarely ever writes about Bradley basketball - but suddenly he chooses to write fluff pieces every day - so what's so incredibly odd that we read or analyze his columns and respond as often as he writes them?
Heck - if I were a writer - I'd WANT people to read, respond, and comment of what I write each time I do - if they didn't then wouldn't it appear his writing is rather irrelevant?

Since Les was the gold standard and so unjustly fired, I will evaluate Geno along the same line. He has 2 more seasons of practice to turn in sub-500 finishes and 1st round MVC tourney exits, before I expect to see us put up at least 3 post-season (NCAA or NIT) wins in 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. Assuming he gets those wins (better be at least 5 if only NIT invites) by then, I will give him a grace period of 4 seasons to do as he pleases. But I won't curve for bad luck, injuries or recruiting misses. And bonus points if he finishes above 4th place in MVC.

Seriously though, KW nailed it right on the head: BU is in the middle of a rebuilding project, fans hate hearing that, and it's still going to be a few years before we can expect any return to the prominence of the past. It's a tough pill to swallow, but that's simply the way it is. At least Geno looks like he is making progress.

I think the point Wiz was trying to make is that everyone on here knows that you can't stand KW. Some people on this board might actually like some of what he writes, and sometimes your comments detract from what is good. Now I know that you are great in backing up your statements with supporting evidence and valid arguments, but your disdain for KW somehow overshadows your objectivity in response to his articles.

I'm sure you've made positive comments before about a KW article, but I can't remember any off the top of my head (I've only been on here for 2+ years now), and that's because you've made it clear that you are anti-KW. Maybe you don't intend to come across that way, but that's how I take it.

I, too, enjoy reading the majority of your posts - just not anything related to KW or JL. But that's your perrogative - not hatin' on ya' man.

I have said many, many times that I like the coverage and the positivity but not the constant hitting on the concept that we're in a huge mess that's blamable on you know who

we are in a mess way, way worse than anyone expected or had hoped and there's plenty of blame for the people who put us here

Hate to say it, but guess I'll start paying more attention to the PJS.

If your favorite sportswriter would stop kicking the fired coach maybe others wouldn't have negative reactions to his columns.

Don't know of any fan who didn't know BU was in the middle of a rebuilding project or who objected to kw saying that, or who isn't 100 % behind Geno.

                              7-25 is not progress.....yet
Making statements like this is premature. We are all willing to give Geno time, but let's stop trying to diminsh the accomplishments of the previous coach.
