No....I have most definitely seen Bradley fans tell former Bradley players/graduates to "break a leg" and also poke fun at former players/coaches.

This is besides all the talk of running off players and there was not just one poster talking about former players/coaches and even altering certain pictures to make their point.

He's seen the players many, many times, so he should know - if there's not a single D-I player then how can we possibly finish ahead of anyone?
I'm not quite sure how that works. In fact, the main person that talked of having no D1 talent on the roster also makes statements that a couple of our players could possibly be all-conference or honorable mention next season. Whatever makes the case, I guess. How you go from not having any players that should be on a Division 1 basketball team to having possibly more than one be all-conference in one of the top 10 conferences in the country.....I guess I just don't follow the logic there.

Making statements like this is premature. We are all willing to give Geno time, but let's stop trying to diminsh the accomplishments of the previous coach.
Or trying to sing the praises of our current coach. Granted, he has to overcome a lot, but the "progress" was not seen on the court last season from returning players - except for a couple individuals' games - in particular Walt Lemon Jr.

Geno needs to keep preaching intensity on defense - a glimpse was seen toward the end of last season. As we are aware, this team is not very capable of racking up points from game to game.

But none from posters on this board...and most of what posted was in response to posters on this board and their defense of JL and former players.....I'm not sure why we need to mix the two boards and their posters

            Thanks.
I'll certainly try. Unfortunately, I don't take constant screenshots of the place in question......unlike the obsessed over there.

I simply stated that "some Bradley fans believe there isn't one D1 player on the roster and they should all be shown the door. I don't think they will accept any of the above points".

I don't believe I ever said that it was "heard" on this board to begin with.

I even stated as much, along with some other things those people like to spend their time talking about. Yes....only one person actually made the statement "break a leg", but many more take part in the other areas I mentioned.

I didn't realize we were only supposed to speak of things that have been stated on this website. I hope everyone is paying attention!

you keep making arguements based OTOB...I guess I don't see the point...you have brought it up many times....we all get it.

If it makes you feel better though I guess it's worth it

Fine......we should no longer talk about the feelings/statements of any Bradley fan unless they have made those statements on this very website. Besides, I don't recall making any arguments. I repeated what I've seen other Bradley fans state. I believe the "arguement" started when those people were either defended or I was told these statements were never made. The rest of the world obviously does not exist!

Someone should tell the rest of the world how this works!

                    • At the risk of starting a ****storm and losing the respect of TOB, as well as this board for all I know, I think an explanation is warranted:

I feel like a lot of the heavy criticisms and poking of fun at the previous regime, including the coaches and players, are meant to be shots at the major posters of this board, not the actual coach or players. They criticize the players and coaches not to insult them, but to try and insult the particular posters they feel completely mis-evaluated their worth. I feel like a lot of the shots at Les in particular TOB are not at Les himself, but at the people who vehemently opposed his firing last year. The criticisms of the job he did are made because they contradict posts supporting him from last year on here.

Obviously there are exceptions but still.

                      • As a Creighton fan, I've got no side in this battle (I don't really know who Wessler is and I neither love nor hate Les), but I do think some of you are too hard on the writer. I don't know how anyone writing about Bradley wouldn't have to at least touch on what the new coach inherited. I'd even go so far as to say that pretty much any story on any new coach with a rebuilding job will ALWAYS mention what that new coach inherited.

It isn't pointing a finger or fixing blame; it is just needed to give context to the average, less informed reader.

So let me understand- you do not know who Wessler is, and you haven't read anything he has written, and you have no idea what he has written in the past or what unwarranted criticism he has had. But you agree with him?

Wow, that doesn't say much for those who support KW. Apparently someone who by their own admission, is completely ignorant of the situation and what has been written agrees with you.

This continues to amaze me. It's apparently OK to some to have the most hateful opinions about a coach, and wish the worst for him, and still call yourself a fan, but if someone simply disagrees with a pot-stirring, agenda-driven writer, that is somehow over the line. To those I would say, get a life.

A little dramatic isn't it DC?...hateful opinions? wish the worst?.....

                                DAJ gave his opinion...that's all.
