Bradley DBO Pat Beilein to be named West Virginia Wesleyan head coaching job

Pat Beilein is a candidate for the head coaching position at DII West Virginia Wesleyan University. He has already interviewed for the open job, and is awaiting their decision.

The previous West Virginia Wesleyan head coach was Jim Boone, who was only there for 1 season. He resigned earlier this month to take the head coaching job at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. WVWU was 22-9 last season.

Pat Beilein played 4 years for West Virginia University, graduating in 2006.

Pat Beilein is still in the running for the open head coaching position at West Virginia Wesleyan University. He was interviewed along with a couple other potential candidates 3 weeks ago, and was been called back yesterday for a second interview.

this is pretty late in the cycle for a school to still not have a head coach, so...
you can bet they will choose soon or already have and will announce tomorrow.

More than people would like to admit - it all comes down to money -
as was honestly conceded by Jank when he bolted and left ISU behind...

Has anyone here ever been to Buckhannon, West Virginia? Can anyone tell us what kind of town it is? It looks like it's a small town (pop. 5,725) between Morgantown (WVU) and Blacksburg (Virginia Tech).
According to Wikipedia, Buckhannon, WV is the only city in the entire county (Upshur county).

I have heard from Coach Williams that he is still pondering the offer. He loves what he is now doing, and it is a big change to pull up roots and move to Buckhannon, WV. Good luck to Coach Williams whatever he decides!
