Bruce Weber landed his first signee at Kansas State on Friday as the school announced that 6-8 power forward Darrell Johnson sent in his Letter of Intent.

well I dont think this is fallout for siu. If lowery isnt fired bobo and their other recruit dont leave so siu doesnt have a scholly to give. Besides he had intrest/offers from alabama and memphis he was never going to siu
Bruce Weber seems intent on turning K-State into SIU-Manhattan, KS ..as he is not only going after SIU/Chris Lowery recruits, but he's hiring dang near the entire fired basketball coaching staff from SIU-Carbondale..
Now he's added Brad Korn to his K-State staff...

Orris did not commit to Kansas State until late on May 3th. Darrell Johnson committed on April 27th. So Johnson was in fact the first recruit to commit to K-State under Bruce Weber.
Orris was actually Weber's 3rd recruit at Kansas State, because Coastal Carolina transfer Sam McLaurin committed earlier in the day on May 3rd, before Orris.
