K-State beat writer reporting that ex-Bradley assistant Alvin Brooks of Sam Houston State will be in Manhattan, KS on invitation from Bruce Weber to interview for the assistant coaching spot at Kansas State.
His connections and ties to top juco talent are his strong suit - something that could have been used here....

I'm very happy for Coach Brooks... It's nice to see a Jim Les assistant get a gig with such a high profile team like KSU. The cordial Les/Weber relationship appears to be paying dividends for AB3.
