The NBA is pretty much a joke anyway, which makes College Hoops even more fun to follow!
The few games I've watched of the Bulls this year and last, they are a good group of guys more or less. I despised Noah in college, but he's not a thug or anything like I see on other teams. They really play a team game and have guys that just wanna' win and put it all on the floor on Offense & defense - a credit to their coach too. And you've gotta' root for a guy like Korver - no matter how much damage he's done against our Braves in the past!
The Spurs are a first class franchise as well. There are far more good guys in the NBA than thugs. Stern has really helped lessen that perception of the NBA although some fans will continue to think of it in that manner. It's fine if you don't like the NBA, but it's not "a joke." There are far, far more issues with college basketball than there are with the NBA IMO.
Noah is one of those players that you hate unless he's on your team.
I can do all things through pasta, which strengthens me.
Anyone watch the Heat/Pacers game last night...
violent, flagrant fouls are becoming the standard - and the NBA simply looking the other way and not wanting to come down hard...
Remember - DWade flagrantly fouled the Pacers' Darren Collison and pretty much got away with it while the NBA looks the other way...
Dwayne Wade trucked over Darren Collison in last night's game against the Pacers in Miami. Indiana went on to win 78-75 and the series is now split at one ap...
Tyler Hansbrough fouls DWade but clearly not only IS playing the ball - he blocks the shot before fouling Wade - this was not head hunting...
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
Almost immediately after the Hansbrough foul on Wade - the next time Hansbrough touches the ball - Udononis Haslem goes viciously for Hansbrough's face & head without any semblance of playing the ball - yet gets called for the same violation, a Flagrant-1, desp[ite clearly being head hunting..
All of the broadcasting team expressed that this was far more flagrant and should have been a Flagrant-2 and ejection.
Later, the Heat's Dexter Pittmen - quickly gaining the reputation as designated thug/headhunter because of his status of being expendable should he get ejected...
Violently elbows the Pacers' Lance Stephenson... in garbage time when the game is all but in the books...
Dexter Pittman Flagrant Foul on Lance Stephenson.Dexter Pittman elbows Lance Stephenson during the final seconds in Game 5 of the Heat's second round playoff...
I call on the NBA to make ALL flagrant fouls especially all flagrants that occur as retaliation within minutes of other flagrants - a mandatory suspension of 5-10 games
