Here is another All Star type of game for Illinois seniors to be played April 13 at the College of Lake County-

3rd Annual Lake County Senior Shootout, which will be held at the College of Lake County on April 13 at 8 p.m.

Illinois State recruit Aaron Simpson is scheduled to play in the game. But I have heard that Bradley is also involved in recruiting 1 or more of the seniors playing in this event.

several unsigned kids there - perhaps the closest thing to mid-major level we're going to see -- let's face it schools sitting with unused rides in a couple more weeks will have few if any options...
you're gonna see fans soon saying we ought to just start looking at 2013 rather than grab the final leftovers...

Can't totally disagree with you but can you say Taylor Brown.

The Global Hoop Challenge was last night and a few of our recruits were playing...
If anyone was there - let us know...
The final score was Team Illinois 86 - Team International 73 - reportedly Juwan Starks (Casper CC in Wyoming) had a good game.

but in a separate All Star game elsewhere - La Lumiere players Raphael Davis (going to Purdue, was MVP with 20 pts) and Jay Simpson led a US All Star team over Germany...

Brzoja is really good. His frame and athleticism may scare some people away, but his court savvy is off the charts. He played point for his team and did a very good job; only got rushed a few times. He made some excellent passes. I remember a full court lob that he put right on the money. He is also a great shooter, but he didn't force anything. I don't think he is 6'5, but that is no big concern. His game will develop into Sammy in his prime, a less athletic version of Jake Odum, or a better shooting version of Grant Gibbs.

Bouvac is a traditional pick-and-pop player. He put the ball on the floor on a couple of occasions and looked alright, but that was against minimal defense. He definitely has no fear is letting a few fly. He isn't overly athletic.

We live in an age where every pick-up is a recruiting coup. Bouvac is a mid to mid major plus. BU would be a good fit; not athletic enough for another step. Brzoja is a mid plus is high minus. He would be a recruiting steal.

And Olah was the best big in the gym.

Thanks -- but in all honesty the team of kids they played against are mostly very-low D-I, D-II and juco level kids...no knock on AS..
Simpson must have lit it up against a bunch of kids who have few college offers...

17 points, 5 assists, and 4 boards is what I had; took a lot of ill-advised shots but hit a 3 to put the game away.

And AS doesn't fall into any of those categories listed above. Sorry.
