the illini seem to start out slow every game......right? Seems like they come out like gang-busters in the 2nd half.........if they don't shape up........they won't have to be humilated by the much smaller Braves for the Championship tomorrow night!

You know, this is one of those real NO-LOSE situations for a Bradley fan.
If the Illini come back and win, then BU will face the team they really want to beat, and Illinois will have to use all its weapons and won't be resting anyone.
But if Miami holds on and wins, then BU will be facing a good team that knocked off Illinois, and just maybe some of the Illini fans will wipe the smug grin off their faces when discussing how Bradley wouldn't be able to handle their "bigs".Comment

5:10 to go and the score remains Miami 46, Illinois 42. That was the same score at the 8:26 mark, so both teams are obviously struggling to put the ball in the hole.
BTW, prior to the Rutgers-Bradley game, one Illini fan boldly posted that the Illini would play the Scarlet Knights on Saturday. You know, he may be right after all!
