one other BU player in the news...Danny Granger passed the 9000 point mark in his career and is only the 4th Pacers player
ever (Rik Smits, Vern Fleming, Chuck Person) to achieve that mark...
Just a few days after pondering retirement, Anthony Parker had his best offensive game this year. He scored 27 points last night on just 14 shots in the Cleveland Cavaliers' loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Cleveland press is making note of the fact that tonight when the lineups are introduced for the Cavaliers,
it will in all likelihood be the final time in front of home fans..
for Bradley's Anthony Parker.......
Then tomorrow night - in Chicago, AP will play his final game where his family and hometown friends can watch him...
He is likely to retire at the end of this season and the Cavs have missed the playoffs by 13 games.
Despite playing a large part (six full years) of his 15-year professional career overseas, Anthony has made a decent impact with his NBA career
both as a fine person and consistent ball player but also statistically...
He currently ranks 23rd in career 3-pt shooting pct at .4052
and his single season best of .441 also still ranks in the Top 100
When you look at his career I'd have to believe it would make a great road map for most college bound D-1 players. Play at a place where you can possibly be a star or at least get plenty of playing time. Work hard and head to a league after college where you can work on your strength and game without the NBA pounding. Once you reach a certain physical maturity you can become a an asset for any team. I'm not sure he could have had a better basketball career. He did it all the right way!

3 months after suggesting he might retire, and 2 months after his final NBA game, former Bradley All American Anthony Parker has officially announced he will retire from the NBA.
After AP left Israel to return to the NBA, he suggested he might return to finish his career in Israel. However, his announcement yesterday sounds like he is not planning on playing again.
