Looks like Missouri State has the Bradley touch from 3 in the first half going 6 of 7 from behind the arc. Ahearn is 3 for 3 from 3 with a game high 19pts.
Go Missouri State a win against a top ten team would be great for the Valley.
Missouri State led by as many as 17 pts. in the first half.
49-40 now.
Blake Ahearn is torching Wisconsin.
He has 19 pts already. More than Alando Tucker, Kammron Taylor, Joe Krabbenhoff, Trevon Hughes, Jason Chappell, JP Gavinski, Brian Butch, and Jason Bohannon combined!!
I tried to find the recap of the game, but the Missouri State website is easily the worst excuse for a Division I athletics website I have seen. They don't have any mention of the game.
Blake Ahearn, the Valley's leading returning scorer, had 25 points. Deven Mitchell, who missed all last season with an injury, had 13 points and 10 rebounds. For Wisconsin, Alondo Tucker tried to pull it out all by himself. He had a game-high 26 points and a team-leading 6 rebounds. The 4 other starters were 5-23 from the floor and 0-7 from 3-point range.
Way to go Bears! They move to the final game of the 2006 South Padre Island Invitational against the winner of the Oklahoma State-Auburn game.
Oklahoma St. leads Auburn at the half 36-28.--
