New ESPN story - about K-State's Frank Martin

Martin didn't say he "paid his players" as you put it. He wasn't paying current players on his college teams. What he said was that he gave money to guys at other schools that used to play for him when he coached at the high school level.
I'm not saying he was right to do so, but that's a huge difference from paying someone currently on your team as you implied.

Side note. Frank Martin has to be the most intimidating coach right now.Well let me just quote the late-great Colonel Sanders, who said..."I'm too drunk to taste this chicken."

"I guess the only thing I should have done was said, 'You owe me nine dollars for the ham and eggs and sausage.' I've got to think with my head and not with my heart."I can do all things through pasta, which strengthens me.
