This was never even a remote possibility. Butler will be a top 15/20 team next year and are about to announce its move to the a10 along with coincidentally Shaka and VCU and George Mason. Still deciding if they want to bring along Creighton.

    It'll be a top 5 league annually.

It's a sideplot, but if the A-10 does bring in Butler, VCU, and Mason, they'll leave Creighton (and everyone else) alone.

Creighton would be insane to move to the A10. The travel would be brutal for all of the non-revenue sports (15-17 hour bus trips).

How many early outs for Pitt?

Remind me of how many Final 4 appearances they've made. Heck, remind me of how many times they've made the Elite 8. The 8th place team goes to the NCAA tournament from the big east every year. Just getting to the tournament doesn't make you a national power. I think you have to causally win some games.

Over the past few years, Brad Stevens is on the record as saying he is VERY happy at Butler and not looking to leave. His wife has a great job in Indy and his job is low stress!! Why leave happiness??

Good article about how the Illinois coaching search has been fumbled so far. But apparently Frank Martin is still in play.
