Hopefully it works out. From the way the article talks about other prospects it sounds like there are going to be more scholarships opening up.
Well let me just quote the late-great Colonel Sanders, who said..."I'm too drunk to taste this chicken."

I don't know.....if we have 2 scholarships available it seems like a good idea to be recruiting more than just 2 players.

the article says we are stil pursuing Fabyon Harris...

here's a brand new recruiting article and talks with Fabyon at the Nationals...
          he mentions ..
"those who have offered scholarships to Harris,Texas A&M, Ole Miss and
Oklahoma State all had head coaches on hand to watch him play Tuesday."

and also mentions a few others (Kansas, UAB) who have followed......and does not mention Bradley at all...

Yes. I'm not sure how anything in that article sounded like more players were leaving Bradley. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I didn't get that impression at all just from reading that article.

He "didn't distinguish himself" playing with a group of players that some have said should all be shown the door because they aren't D1 players?

He seems to be one of GF's top targets, but I'm not sure I'm terribly disappointed he didn't commit at this time.

One bad practice and now you don't want the guy at BU? I would take him in a heartbeat from what I've read from articles and seen in videos. Maybe you should call Vanderbilt, Purdue, Northwestern, Utah, and Rhode Island and tell them he cant play.

I don't recall saying I "don't want the guy at BU". I simply stated that "I'm not terribly disappointed he didn't commit at this time". Besides, SS was once referred to as the best player in practice so I don't put too much into the entire practice thing one way or the other.

I must admit that it conerns me if a recruit comes in and doesn't at least impress against our remaining players. After all, these are guys that finished dead last and had the worst season in Bradley history.

the local media is viewing Bradley's off-season scrimmage, then publicly makes a "less than complimentary" assessment of how the kid played?

                          Hmmm...

There is a reason he is getting big name interest.

breaking news - being discussed on both Illini and Ohio Bobcat boards - that a premium story discusses Brzoja - may have gone
to visit Ohio after being here and has been offered by John Groce, but now that Groce is maybe going to be hired at Illinois -
.....if Groce likes him he might end up at Illinois...

"In the spring coaches tend to scramble for talented players,
and Mislav Brzoja is one that many are focused on landing.

If there are two things almost every college program in the country is looking
for right now in the 2012 class it would be a point guard and a big guy.
While Zionsville (Ind.) Traders Point Christian Academy guard Mislav Brzoja
isn't a pure point guard, he can give some minutes at the position.

One guy on the Ohio board posted the itinerary of the charter U of I private jet (publicly avail. knowledge) - and it says...
the plane went to Columbus, Ohio last night and is returning to Champaign now ("En Route")
The log also shows the same plane was recently used for trips to Washington, DC (Shaka Smart) and Indianapolis (Brad Stevens)

Ok - then the final stunner.....if Groce leaves for Illinois - who better would the Ohio Bobcat people want to replace him ...
of course they would make a HUGE pitch for the guy who is one of their all time best players and a legend there...

"Another thought is if Groce leaves would Geno Ford be interested? I have heard his package at Bradly is in the $700,000 range.
It would be a lateral move but it would be to a program in solid shape plus the school he graduated from.
I doubt he we ever consider another mid- major. There is no way he could go from Kent to Ohio but he could go from Bradley to Ohio..."
