To be honest I would have thrown DS in more games this year because often Bradley was terrible and he couldn't be much worse. But I said the same about AT and Milos last year and others over the years. Of course then we were supposed to trust the coach who saw them in practice every day. I don't know much about coaching basketball but I do recognize hypocrisy when I see it. Don't like it much.

This is simple. DS was getting Creaned from day 1. Geno knew if he played Donivine that he would perform better than what was on the floor (how could he not?) and then he couldn't Crean him. If he never played then he's easy to cut loose.

dead last for first time ever

three separate streaks of at least 6-losses in a row and four separate streaks of 4-losses in a row
dead last or next to last in virtually every single offensive and defensive statistical category
lowest attendances in 20+ yrs
..need I say more...

I think it's as simple as system vs skill set.

I've watched Donivine play a lot in high school, when to Morton High School so I saw him mop the floor with my Potters, but he is much more of a traditional half-court point guard. Think Mark Price. He pounds the ball, and waits for breaks in the game to get his teammates involved. Don't take this as a diss, I'd much rather have a Mark Price type of point guard then a Russell Westbrook type of point guard.

Geno's offense is run and gun. Having a player who needs the ball in his hands a lot to create an offensive flow would never work in Geno's offense.

It's sad to see him go, I've been looking forward to him playing under Les for years, but his style just wouldn't fit with the new regime. Best of luck to him wherever he goes. He's leadership qualities on the court will hopefully be greatly utilized somewhere else

I think we need to try to be more positive and optimistic. And I said the same thing last year. I'm not a fan of the negative nellies.

I think there is a way to express concern without coming off as a spinmeister, or as an attacker.

I am 100% committed to and root for the team, the coaches, and the players...always have and nobody can dispute that fact,.....
I do not root for the bad results...but support the team regardless....what is it about that you have trouble understanding..?

I have never rooted for Bradley to lose as some have done openly nor have I ever rooted to see any player or coach GONE or booted as many on the other board do incessantly..
Nor do I find scapegoats in players, coaches, or even other fans as is the daily MO on TOB
