The D-III junior college Nationals are over, with the Sandhills Comunity College Flyers winning the National Championship
There's probably not a lot of chance any of these kids will go D-I but a couple of D-III juco kids do every year...in fact one of Wichita's supposedly top incoming guys is Cleanthony Early - a D-III juco kid who averaged 24.2 ppg...
One kid in particular might have been worth a look...except he's already verballed to Baylor...
the team that lost the title game was Cedar Valley College, and their top player was Bakari Turner (6-4 SG) who scored 37 points in a losing effort in the title game.
He also had games of 26 pts, & 32 pts in the Finals and averaged 25 ppg (better than Cleanthony Early) on the season hitting 84 3-pointers at a rate of 40%
the D-I and D-II juco Nationals begin this week...
In D-I Fabyon Harris, Marshall Henderson and a few other famililar names are there...
In D-II TOP ranked Mott is said to be the heavy favorite...
Mott has ex-Chicago North Lawndale's John Taylor (6-1 pg/combo guard) averaging 24.4 ppg, 4.2 apg - a really tough Chicago kid who is uncommitted
