agree - -Creighton is a very good mid-major team and McDermott is an outstanding ball player but National Player of the Year???
I applaud them and the season they have had....
I think this game finally shakes some reality into a few MVC dreamers....
BTW -- they keep harping over and over on Marshall's season assist total and how it ranks top five all time...
But they have yet to mention the guys ahead of him...
One guy - with 373 assists (12.0 apg) in 1987-1988 was Bradley's Anthony Manuel and he didn't even finish FIRST in the nation that year!!
(although he is still 2nd all time in single season assists)
Southern U.'s Avery Johnson had 399 that season!Comment
