Well, I've got a TON of egg on my face, they were my National Champs ah well, another year another piece of crap bracket hahaha
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

I think a decent and deep cast has made Gregg Marshall look better than he's gonna look next year if he stays...
..plus -- I wonder how he liked playing on a "neutral court"...as he whined about a few days ago...?
Yesterday showed that if his guys don't nail their threes, they look undisciplined and chaotic...
There were plenty of times they rushed the ball up like an NBA team and hurried a shot before even looking to pass......where have we seen that??

Ragland with zero assists, 3 TO?? Stutz only 2 FG's?
...let's see if Marshall finds solace in interviewing elsewhere......

Wichita lost the game when Stutz missed 2 lay-ups in the last 2 minutes of the game, probably because he was sitting on the bench the whole game with foul trouble. His 2nd foul was a pretty weak charge call where a guy flopped on a pass and Stutz barely touched the guy.

Marshall was interviewed athalftime by the courtside CBS person and she asked him what he will expect from Stutz in the second half. Marshall just said emphatically that he just hoped they'd let him play. He was obviously upset with the calls.
And I can't disagree much. Some of the foul calls were such slight and incidental contact, while the officials allow mayhem on other plays. The physical play that's allowed during the blocking out on rebounds would easily qualify as attempted murder if it occurred on a street.

I think you can attribute WSU's rushed shots and turnovers to VCU's defense. They were relentless. WSU had done a pretty good job controlling tempo in their games....except for last night....
