I thought it was strange he committed to SIU when he did. Most basketball kids decide to transfer to an academy for 2 reasons. One is to get your grades in order and improve your ACT scores. The other reason is get greater exposure by playing on a better team (with better coaching?) and be with other high profile players.

BoBo committed to Southern before he even set foot in school there in Indiana. At that time he had not benefited at all by transfering to an academy. I have always wondered why he gave his commitment so soon. I hope he has his grades in order. Maybe other reasons?

Report out of Carbondale says that so far Bobo Drummond has not asked out of his LOI to SIU....

but SIU's other incoming 2012 recruit, Travis Wilkins has reportedly made the decision to ask out of his LOI....however SIU's Athletic Department has not received nor processed that request yet...

Where’s the outrage?
