What complicates an offer though, is that teams only get home games by paying a guarantee. Duquesne has no intention of paying a guarantee, Amodio said, which would mean a road game.
That, he said, would force a decision based not just on the postseason opportunity for the team but travel costs and time away from school as well.
Duquesne has played in the CBI the past two years, and coach Ron Everhart hopes the opportunity is there again.
University of Southern Utah is interested in a bid to the CBI-
"I don’t care what event it is, if somebody wants you to play in their tournament after the season is over, go play,” USU head coach Stew Morrill said. “It’s positive and good for your players coming back. ... You never know what might happen, might even get a home game. Obviously not the main events, but any event is better than no event at all. We hope somebody thinks we’re worthy of playing.”
And Western Illinois would consider the CBI or CIT-
