I learned from a very reliable source that Meyers Leonard has already withdrawn from all LAS classes next year and Illinois, so that means that either he 1) goes pro, or 2) transfers... And he's not gonna transfer. And I also believe Bruce's fate is pretty much sealed.

Illinois' getting close to the NIT bubble now. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it but they have the resume the NIT typically likes to select - a couple marquee wins means everything.

I seriously question if any of the Illini players/coaches would be up for even playing in the NIT - except maybe Sammy, 'cause he never made it to a tourney of this caliber before.
