Bill Carmody confident of Northwestern's chances

Northwestern's coach Bill Carmody may have secured his job as well as Northwestern's NCAA at-large chances with a couple recent wins. He does not plan on "lobbying" for his team, as if that does any good.

Not sure though that they get in or even deserve to be in without a couple of Big Ten Tourney wins. That 1-10 top 50 record says a lot. If the committee lets them in just based on SOS and conference strength, that completely blows the theory of "teams get bids, not conferences" right out of the water!
