Looking forward to watching the Evansville vs. Creighton game this afternoon. A small group of us have watched all the games so far. Lots of blue and yellow will be in Scottrade this afternoon though for sure. Coach Graham is still in St. Louis watching games along with Dave Snell.
If you cant go to school go to STATE!!

if CU and Wichita play the final, I predict they will sell out.

Meanwhile, I remember when BU made their run in '06, chants of "MVC! MVC! MVC!" were common at the NCAA. Think we'll hear those from our friends in Wichita and Omaha? I'll be pulling hard for them in the NCAA (and Notre Dame of course!)
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

DC, did Tyler once commit to BU and what happened to that? I love his game.

He was all set to come to Bradley and was just waiting for the end of the season and for a player to leave to open a scholarship. That player did leave after the season ended (Andrew Davis), but the coach was fired before it happened. That left Tyler Brown without an offer. However, I have heard that even though he had no obligation to help Tyler Brown, Coach Les did so anyway. He made a phone call to a certain coach in Normal who was desperately looking for a shooting guard, and turned him onto Brown. The rest is history.

In the 2nd semifinal game, Creighton has pulled away and is leading Evansville 49-30 at halftime-

Well, there you go. More of the fallout that occurred when Les was fired, and he sticks it against his old school on top of that (in a good way of course)! But good for Les for finding Tyler a place to play when he was left hanging. We talk a lot about how much losing Sammy and Remy hurt us this year that we didn't even think of how big a factor Tyler Brown would have been for us (and I had forgotten he was all set to come here). If we had all three of these guys this year, who knows where we would have finished in the Valley, especially consideriing how many 9-9 teams finished tied for third! Yes DC, losing coaches do have serious ramifications a lot of times.

Anyway that said, I'm still shocked that ISU knocked the Shockers out as I don't think ISU had any real quality wins this year, even though they did not have too many bad losses either. As much as it pains me, I'll root for the Redbirds over Creighton tomorrow since it does not seem like Creighton is going to give Evansville any room for an upset tonight.

Interesting story I'd not heard before. Really like Tyler.

Coach Jankovich has even called JL this season to tell him thanks.
It would have been nice to have a shooter like Tyler.
The fallout included much more than people realize.
