playing terribly and trail 40-19 at half...

Indiana State has just four baskets made (4-26) and 3-13 from 3pt...
also losing the rebounding battle 21-9

The second quarterfinal game hs started between Illinois State and UNI.
Announcer John Rooney just said Johnny Moran had made 193 three point shots in his career, second in UNI history only to Ben Jacobson, his coach.
He obviously is reading from a script and confusing former UNI player Ben Jacobsen with the coach Ben Jacobsen.

ISU shooting poorly - starters are 4-13 overall and 0-3 from 3-pt range
John Wilkins is in foul trouble with 3 in the 1st half - two came in the first four minutes.

UNI shot 25% from the field, and 30% from three. ISU was 34% overall, and 15% from three. It was an ugly game, and did little to show off the Missouri Valley's quality of basketball. The announcers said UNI had a resume that was good enough to get an NCAA at-large bid. I know they are paid to promote the MVC teams, but that statement removed all credibility. I still think UNI will get an NIT bid, but this embarrassing performance didn't help.
