  • DePaul finally wins one

And helps both their own and Bradley's RPI.
DePaul's RPI in closing in one the upper 50% now.

I am happy for DePaul and hope they keep winning.

I would love nothing better than to see DePaul come on strong and finish well in their remaining nonconference games and be in the upper half of the Big East.

    Go Blue Demons!

DePaul tips off in about 30 minutes (1:00) against Purdue in a Maui Invatational consolation game.

        Does that make much sense?

They are playing in Lahaina, Hawaii, and they start at 1PM central time.
That means the kids are being asked to show up to start on court at 5AM local time in Hawaii,
and they must have had to get to the arena at 3AM to get warmups, etc...
I think that's a raw deal for the kids who play this game!

Drat, DePaul is going to lose to Purdue.
Purdue leads 71-63 only about a minute left.
Could it be that Purdue has rebuilt this quickly?
They are just coming off a nice win over Oklahoma and will go to 4-1 with this win.

DePaul was down by 19 at the half and really played better in the second half before falling short.

Depaul is not a well coached team. If it wasn't for the BTM connection I believe Wainwright would be on a little bit of a hot seat, but Depaul doesn't want to disrupt their incoming payroll, I mean recruiting class. It is gonna be a long year for them, but if anyone deserves this it is JW. If they NCAA won't go after him like they should, it looks like karma is doing a pretty good job.
