I'm not sure what the players at SIU, isu, and MSU have anything to do with this. I'm simply pointing out that he has 5 players on this Bradley team that he recruited. Since you mentioned it, the guys he has signed to play at Bradley specifically include SS and DH. I've been incredibly unimpressed with SS to this point and really have no idea what DH can provide. I guess it doesn't matter if we're not going to renew scholarships after one year of not contributing. Hopefully, the staff can find some players this spring that can come in next season and be contributors.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Regardless of it he recruited DSE and JP at a MAC school or not, they have been playing for a different coach and system for the previous 2 years. I don't understand what a scholarship offer at Kent State by Geno has to do with Bradley basketball? What is your point?

Also - What did you expect of SS? He showed some flashes this year. More than most freshman, and especially more than most late spring signees. Perhaps you drank the message board kool-aid on him and expected the second coming of Hersey Hawkins? I believe SS will be a fine player at Bradley before all is said and done.

You end your comments basically saying its not fair to judge a player after 1 year, but you are doing just that 1 sentence before. Make up your mind.

Bottom line..it doesn't matter who recruited who. Geno Ford is now the coach of the Bradley basketball program. It is his job to seriously upgrade the talent on the roster.

He will not hit on 100% of his recruits---no coach does. Hopefully he hits on a lot more than he misses on. I'm not really going to judge the guys recruiting based on three guys he picked up very late just to fill out the roster.

Geno is paid a lot of money to win. It will take some time to see if he can do that--but it's on him. Jim Les has nothing to do with any of this anymore. Let him go.

I could not agree more. The JL era has passed and I've moved on. I'm also giving Geno 3 years to get us to the next level. I still see next year as a re-building project. Look how long it took Indiana.
