Kent State University Head Coach Geno Ford instills toughness into every basketball drill, practice and game he leads. Two-ball drills, ladder work and full court dribbling are part of Ford's daily practice routine. Ford challenges his players with competitive 1-on-1 and 2-on-2 drills that demand toughness and ball security. These drills present game like situations facing pressure, traps and decision making. Ford's multi-purpose shooting drill will help you build conditioning into increased shooting range and accuracy. The second half of this DVD features Ford's secondary offensive system. Screening is a staple of this offense. Using the back, brush and on-ball screens, your team will distort the defense and get high quality shots consistently. A hidden weapon in this offense is the aggressive pursuit of missed shots on the offensive glass, which will lead to easy baskets. Ford provides ideas for skill development, toughness and easy baskets. All three will allow you to score easier while limiting your turnovers. 56 minutes. 2009.
