MVC has 2 teams in Top 25 for first time since 2006

Wichita State and Creighton were both ranked in the USA/ESPN Top 25 Coaches poll-

It is the first time 2 teams from the Missouri Valley have made the Coaches poll since the final poll of 2006 when Bradley and Wichita State were ranked.

this shows that when there are strong teams at the top of the Valley - it benefits every team in the Valley -
thus the very reason to cheer when those team do well, beat good non-conference foes, and land strong talent...

I have felt all along that the teams below Creighton and Wichita were mediocre at best and I think in the end we now see that --
everyone's a .500 team, and only those top two (CU & WSU) have RPI's inside the top 64 teams..
and yet - the whole MVC is getting talked up as a tough conference - so we are all getting benefits we probably do not deserve this year!

I'm banking on Wichita State making it to the Sweet 16 at least and Creighton being a 1 and done in the big dance. Creighton just doesn't have it like earlier in the season. They got lucky the last 3 games and things will work against them soon, maybe as soon as this weekend.
