    - Maniscalco stated the transfer was because of the graduate program that Illinois offered which we all know is BS. Lets be honest with this one. He saw how poor Bradley's program was going to be this year and bailed. He knew it was going to be a rebuilding year and saw his opportunity to be apart of a better program.
You conveniently left something out......he GRADUATED!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

It's also a shame POB (along with a great number of other college athletes) wasn't loyal to his teammates and the university as well.

I'm guessing that's the thought process here, since you can't say SM bailed on his teammates but the decision by any other athlete to leave their school behind is ok. On second thought maybe it isn't the same......SM graduated!

Sam didn't leave because he graduated.....it just gave him the out to do so...and that's fine.

You're right......he "bailed" on his team and the school that he graduated from by getting on with his life. Shame on him!

As I said before and will say again he made a mistake. Cheaters proof. If he had stayed he would left a great legacy....now what does he have?

IMO, that is not for anyone to judge but Sam and his family. People make decisions in their lives for a lot of reasons. Before you condemn him, I would suggest you talk to Sam or Carl and find out more.

Don't try to interject sanity into the situation! This is my favorite thread in a long time.

I agree. However, I've been called a "minion" and a "parrot" so that's probably not even my opinion.

Well then it's too bad none of us can ask Sam or Carl what happened, so no one can understand. Oh well.

I posted this "over there" and have yet to get a response, but I wonder if this would be true if ANY Bradley player decided to go elsewhere for whatever reason. Would DS be "disloyal" to Bradley if he chose to go elsewhere and do what he feels is best for him?

Carl has been to a number of Bradley games this year. Even Sammy has been to a couple. It's wouldn't be hard for anyone to find either of them, but I suspect some don't really want to know.

Please don't tell me the players he betrayed and bailed on have forgiven him!

I wouldn't blame DS if he left to go somewhere where he at least gets off the bench. Hope he doesn't because even though I never saw him a minute in high school, I heard good reports from others.
What part of illegal don't you understand?
