Wow! I have attended games of four out of the five on the list!
    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

More mid majors making the NCAA Tournament was also briefly discussed on ESPN Mike & Mike in the Morning today. MVC and CU/WSU got some real good comments from the guys on the air.

Also Vitale mentioned on the radio during the show this morning no BCS Conference school should be eligible for the NCAA Tournament if they didn't have a minimum 0.500 record in their conference (unless sub 0.500 teams win their Conference Tournaments).

I could really agree with that!

I think each conference no matter how powerful should also be limited on how many participants they send to the NCAA Tourney...

I know there'll be people who say the 8th best in the Big East is still stronger than...(fill in the blank)
but BU didn't get to go in 1960, 61, and 62 because of a somewhat similar rule that sent Cincy and NOT BU...

so if you can't finish at least 4th or 5th in your mega-conference you got no business going and embarrassing the entire rest of your conference like UConn did last year when the rest of the Big East pretenders dropped out early...and the few mid-majors that were graced with bids did exceptionally well for the umpteenth time...

Exactly, probably wouldn't love him if he had to watch that from the other bench.

Xavier McDaniel was one of my favorite players to watch while while at BU outside of BU players. He was truly a man among boys. The BU/Tulsa/WSU games were epic back then.
