For those who haven't heard, Taylor Brown is not playing tonight. Neither is Walt Gibler for Loyola.

Let's just say that we have hit rock bottom as a program. I won't lay blame on anyone in particular, it is what it is. But even without TB tonight, to lose to Loyola is inexcusable! But credit Loyola for wanting this game more, as they looked at the schedule and saw this was a winnable road game for them.
Let's just get this season over with, and hope with all hope that Geno can snag a JUCO or two along with a couple of instant impact recruits. Throw in WE, and hope we can at least start winning some games at home next year that we have no business losing, even if that only results in 4 or 5 more wins.
This would be hysterical if we sweep UNI this year! That wouldn't shock me with the way this season has gone, but obviously I don't expect a win there Wednesday night.

Well, what can be said? If you are a Bradley fan, you have to be very disappointed in what we saw tonight. Listening to Dave Snell on the post-game, it's easy to tell that Dave would like to be frank about how badly Bradley played, but he's sugarcoating it a little.
Bradley just scored a total of 44 points against one of the worst teams in Division 1. We shot 33% and had 15 turnovers at home against the weakest team we will play all year.
We got a total of 2 points out of our "5" players combined.
On the defensive end, we got outrebounded 36-27 despite Loyola playing without their center. And as usual, we allowed their only inside player (they started 4 guards and a forward) to have a career night with 19 points, and 10 rebounds. We allowed a staggering parade of layups, and Loyola totalled 36 points in the paint, despite being one of the weakest teams in America, and also one of the poorest shooting teams.
For those who thought we could do so much better than 4th place finishes, it looks like it could be a long time before we see that territory again.

"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

Let's hope the PCC staff leave the doors of the arena open tonight to air the place out!
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun! (and wins!)
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
When I'm stuck on a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh
The sun'll come out (and new recruits)
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on (for new recruits)
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!BUilding for the Future

I don't get it. Do you not like Geno? Was Les a friend of yours? Or was there some sort of agreement that Les avoided the local press and fed info to bradleyfans.com? I come here rarely, but the contrast in what you've had to say about the Les program vs the Geno program is pretty stark.
I don't get it. What do you have against Geno

Very down after the effort tonight....JP with zero pts didn't help but losing to a another bad team at home by 12.....at least Loyola played with heart and as a team...I would like to think we've hit rock-bottom....but I had this game penciled in as a W'.....now the Braves are the team everyone should want to play in St. Louis.....

Keep repeating that mantra, as it helps the JL-haters rationalize that this team is clearly far worse than last year and far worse than anyone thought, and we don't have 2 double-digit scoring, All-MVC players out to use as an excuse.
And I support Geno 100%, he's our coach. And I am not a friend of Jim Les. I barely knew him, so nice try.
And no coach in Bradley history was lambasted as much as JL was, so stop acting so thin skinned.
