NCAA tournament at-large teams

What seed should Wichita State have if they win out or make it to the MVC final game? I'd have to believe they should be considered right now one of the top 16 teams in the country. I like their depth and their defense has to be one of the best in the country. They demolished a very good Creighton team on the road and should have beaten them at home. I've been a WSU fan this year from day one because of all the talent they have and depth they can play.

I think they get a 5 or a 6. You are right that they probably deserve a 4, but MVC teams seem to get screwed on seeding. The only way they get a 4 is by winning out and get some help IMO.

You are probably correct and how much you want to bet they play another pretty good mid-major first round?

Creighton had better be thankful the BracketBuster turned out the way it did -- had they lost, then lost again in the Valley - they might have been looking NIT..

I would say a 5 as well, but I think a 4 is more deserving. Either way it's pretty much the same, aside from that dangerous 5/12 matchup.

Come to think of it, a certain 13 seed did some damage in 2006 as well!

Not the way some of the pundits are talking. Though I agree with you that yes, Creighton would be squarely on the bubble, and probably on the wrong side of it come Selection Sunday.
